Zeiss Announces New Biometry Mastery Courses in 2024

Carl Zeiss Meditec is launching the Biometry Mastery Course, a program designed to enhance the skills and expertise of ophthalmic professionals.

The Zeiss Biometry Mastery Course is a training initiative aimed at equipping nurses and technicians with advanced knowledge and practical skills in the field of biometry, according to Zeiss. 

The 1-day course will take place at the Zeiss Vision Care UK Headquarters in Birmingham on February 6-7. Attendees will have the choice of either date on a first-come-first-served basis.

Participants in the program will access comprehensive training covering fundamental clinical applications of the Zeiss IOLMaster 700. This includes instruction in operator techniques, troubleshooting common obstacles, and interpretation of results.

The course also offers a carefully curated curriculum that explores the latest advancements in biometry technology. From optical biometry to ultrasound biometry and IOL calculations, participants will develop an understanding of the principles and practical applications of biometry in clinical practice. The learning experience extends to hands-on training sessions utilizing cutting-edge equipment, ensuring participants gain practical experience in performing biometric measurements and interpreting results accurately. Led by distinguished experts in ophthalmology, this format aims to encourage interaction, discussions, and collaborative activities, fostering a dynamic and enriching educational environment, according to Zeiss.
