Yehia Hashad, MD, to Join Bausch + Lomb as Executive Vice President of Research & Development and CMO

Bausch Health Companies has announced that Yehia Hashad, MD, will join Bausch + Lomb as executive vice president of Research & Development and Chief Medical Officer (CMO), effective January 31, 2022.

Dr. Hashad will join Bausch + Lomb from Allergan/AbbVie, where for the past 11 years he held various roles, including leading Allergan's global clinical development program for its eye care portfolio. Prior to that, he was with Novartis Pharma AG for 5 years, where he focused on ophthalmology, and also with T3A Pharma Group for nearly 10 years.
