Visionix Unveils the VX 610 Automated Fundus Camera

Visionix USA announced the launch of the VX 610 non-mydriatic automated fundus camera.
The VX 610 boasts a range of automated features, including auto alignment, auto focus, and auto capture. This level of automation not only streamlines the imaging process but also reduces the likelihood of errors, according to Visionix.
A feature of the VX 610 is its use of cross-polarized light technology, which provides image clarity without the need for pupil dilation. This advancement allows for quicker and more comfortable exams for patients, as well as more efficient workflow for practitioners. The device also offers a 45-degree field of view, coupled with a 90-degree mosaic function, enabling comprehensive retinal screening.
Designed with a touch-screen interface, the VX 610 is designed to be both user-friendly and space-efficient. Its compact footprint makes it easy to integrate into any clinical setting, enhancing diagnostic capabilities while simultaneously improving the patient experience, Visionix stated.
Live Demos at Vision Expo West 2024
Visionix said it will showcase the VX 610 at Vision Expo West (VEW) 2024, where it will be featured at booth #F10065 alongside the company’s next-generation refraction and screening technologies, including Optovue OCTs and OCTAs, and Briot/Weco lens finishing platforms. For those unable to attend VEW, Visionix invites eye care professionals to request a quote for the VX 610 or any other Visionix product through their website at visionix.com/us/quote.
