Topcon Introduces Topcon Harmony and Triton Swept Source OCT at the 2018 AAO

Topcon will debut the Topcon Harmony ophthalmic data management system at the AAO meeting in Chicago. Harmony replaces Synergy and features a completely redesigned browser-based user interface that includes new features and vendor-neutral connectivity.

“The last few months of hard work and preparation will be showcased at AAO starting on October 27.  We are proud to demonstrate Topcon Harmony, the next generation of clinically relevant access to rich data sets in support of better patient outcomes,” John Trefethen, Vice President of Marketing & Product Design for Topcon, said in a company news release. “What was merely data management has evolved into a feature-rich set of tools every clinician should experience first-hand. New features have been added that give users faster access to the information and patient exam histories they need. I am really impressed by what the entire Topcon team has accomplished.”

Topcon is also revealing a new pricing structure for Topcon Harmony and Topcon CLOUD at AAO. Topcon CLOUD is the automated, cloud-based, device backup solution that meets HIPPA requirements, provides scalable storage options, and supports a disaster recovery program.

Thai Do, Topcon Harmony Product Manager, stated, “The new software provides a clean interface and builds a solid foundation to support the future product roadmap.” Thai Do will be onsite at Topcon Booth #3745 for live demonstrations and ready to answer any product questions.

In addition to its software solutions, Topcon will also be displaying its full line of ophthalmic diagnostic equipment including the new Triton Swept Source OCT. The Triton is the first commercially available multimodal Swept Source OCT in the US.  It combines Topcon’s years of experience in imaging technology with the diagnostic power of SS-OCT.  The Triton features 100K A-scans/sec, a 1,050nm light source that allows you to image deeper into the retina and through media opacities, a high-density widefield OCT Scan, and the ability to view the vitreous and choroid in the same scan.
