Topcon Healthcare and RemoniHealth Announce Strategic Partnership to Advance Remote Eye Care
Topcon Healthcare announced a new commercial partnership with RemoniHealth, a provider of remote care management and AI-enabled ocular disease monitoring.
According to Topcon, the collaboration advances the company's tele-eyecare strategy, aligning with the US government’s 'Rural Health Transformation initiative' and the growing need for scalable, connected eye care solutions. This expansion of screening and tele-eyecare is driving demand for continuous disease management beyond the clinic, making in-home monitoring and remote care services increasingly essential.
RemoniHealth has developed what it is calling the industry’s first enterprise platform designed specifically for comprehensive remote monitoring and care continuity in ophthalmology and optometry. The platform integrates clinically validated, home-based diagnostic and monitoring tests with the first principal care management service purpose-built for eye care. By connecting eye care providers, care managers, and patients, RemoniHealth enables continuous disease surveillance and coordinated long-term management for chronic and progressive conditions such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy (DR), glaucoma, and other sight-threatening diseases.
The partnership expands Topcon Healthcare’s vision for home monitoring and connected care by combining Topcon’s leadership in imaging, AI analytics, and interoperable platforms with RemoniHealth’s remote monitoring and care management technology.
