Three Companies Combine to Form Corza Medical
Corza Medical, a provider of surgical products and technologies, was formed after uniting Surgical Specialties Corporation, Caliber Ophthalmics, and the TachoSil hemostatic patch device.
“Today, our ophthalmic business goals have not changed. We are still focused on delivering the highest quality products for ophthalmic surgery that ensure clean, accurate, and self-sealing incisions. You can continue to count on our industry leading brands including Sharpoint knives, sutures and cannulas, as well as Ultraplug punctal plugs to meet your surgical needs,” Corza Medical stated in a news release. “Tomorrow, expect us to build on the decades of experience, trust and clinical relevance we have to create innovative products that will redefine the standard for quality and value.”
Corza Medical stated that there will be no changes in its business processes or systems, and the points of contact will be the same with Corza Medical as it was with Surgical Specialties. Over the next few months, the company will start the process of rolling out the Corza Medical name on its invoices, business forms and packaging.
