Surgilūm's RoboMarker G2 Receives 5 International Medical Device Design Awards
Surgilūm's RoboMarker G2 was awarded international medical device design awards by 3 associations.
The awards include:
- New York Product Design Award: an international competition celebrating excellence in product design, based on visual quality, innovation, functionality, usability, safety, and user benefits.
- Gold Winner (1st place) - Medical Devices and Technology Award
- Gold Winner (1st place)- Future Innovation Design Award
- Titan Health Award: a global competition celebrating excellence in healthcare innovation, design , and marketing, receiving thousands of entries from countries worldwide
- Platinum Winner (1st place) - Future Innovation Design in Medical Equipment
- Platinum Winner (1st place)- Future Innovation Design in OR Tools and Equipment
- International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA): highlights accomplishments in design across various disciplines and attracts entries from over 30 countries
- Gold Winner(1st place) - Medical and Health
The RoboMarker G2 is designed to accurately mark the eye for astigmatism prior to refractive surgery. According to Surgilūm, the device also enhances efficiency in the OR, eliminating several steps and thereby reducing error. The RoboMarker system is available in the US, western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, and Scandinavia.
