ScienceBased Health Expands Its Ophthalmology Clinical Advisory Panel
ScienceBased Health (SBH) today announced the addition of Nicole Fram, MD, Jennifer Loh, MD and Gary Wörtz, MD to its Ophthalmology Clinical Advisory Panel. The organization’s mission is to enhance patient care through product innovation and education surrounding nutritional supplements for eye health.

Dr. Nicole Fram is a managing partner at Advanced Vision Care in Los Angeles, CA and an adjunct associate professor at the University of Utah. She is a nationally recognized anterior segment and refractive surgeon, educator, and thought leader. In addition to her clinical practice, she serves as Secretary on the ASCRS Executive Committee and Cataract Consultation Section editor for the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. She has numerous peer-reviewed publications, and she was recently recognized by The Ophthalmologist in their Top 10 Power List 2025 in Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Jennifer Loh, founder of Loh Ophthalmology Associates in Miami, FL, is cataract-refractive surgery and dry eye disease specialist. A nationally recognized speaker, author and leader, she has received numerous honors including in Newsweek’s America’s Best Eye Doctors (2022, 2023). Dr. Loh is a Past President of the Cedars-Aspens group representing top anterior segment key opinion leaders, the immediate Past President of the Miami Ophthalmology Society and currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of Touch Ophthalmology.
Dr. Gary Wörtz is one of the busiest cataract and refractive surgeons in the US. His clinical practice is at Commonwealth Eye Surgery in Lexington, KY, however Dr. Wörtz has several national honors, including being selected for The Ophthalmologist Power List Top 100 and OSN’s Premier Surgeon 300. He founded Omega Ophthalmics, co-founded Arcuate Innovations, and currently holds 80 patents. Additionally, he hosts an educational podcast, Ophthalmology Off the Grid
