RevolutionEHR Announces Early Access to Redesigned Patient Portal
RevolutionEHR, a cloud-based electronic health record and practice management platform for optometry, announced early access to a redesigned patient portal intended to streamline patient communication and reduce administrative workload.
According to the company, the updated portal allows patients to schedule appointments, exchange secure messages with practice staff, pay bills online, and access clinical documents, including Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture records, from a single site.
“When patient engagement is simple and dependable, practices gain time and bolster confidence,” Danny Shipman, vice president of product at RevolutionEHR, said in a statement. “The patient portal is designed to support and enhance daily interactions via a patient-facing experience practices can trust.”
The company said new features include a one-time passcode login sent by email, expanded secure messaging to reach additional staff members, the ability to view upcoming recalls within the portal, and practice branding options such as logo uploads and customizable colors.
RevolutionEHR also said the portal is designed to align with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology functionality to support compliance.
RevolutionEHR is part of PracticeTek, a health care technology company that provides software and services across multiple outpatient and retail health care specialties.
