RestoringVision Appoints of Three Directors to its Leadership Team

Nonprofit RestoringVision announced the appointment of three directors to its leadership team to strengthen its impact in solving the global vision crisis. This follows a year of growth, in which RestoringVision expanded its reach by 48 percent in 2022. In 2023, the organization aims to reach over 4 million people living in extreme poverty with the vision services and eyeglasses they need to see clearly, according to a company news release.

Katrina Posey joins RestoringVision as its Director of Finance and Accounting and a member of the leadership team. In her role, she’s responsible for the finances of the organization.

Ms. Posey brings over 25 years of experience in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors and has worked in different industries and geographies. She is an financial professional with a strong understanding of business operations, including forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and leading financial professionals. Her oversight in the finance and accounting area will further enhance RestoringVision’s operational capabilities. 

Stephanie Godward has been promoted to Director of Marketing and Communications at RestoringVision and joins the leadership team. In September 2022, Ms. Godward led RestoringVision through a global rebranding and website launch. She leads RestoringVision’s brand management, thought leadership efforts, content creation and storytelling, media relations, PR strategy, social media, and more. She joined the organization in April 2022 as the organization’s Senior Manager of Communications and Marketing.

Shaun Starkey has been promoted to Director of Operations and joins the leadership team. In this role, Mr. Starkey will continue to direct and grow the Operations functions for RestoringVision, including the distribution center operations, shipping and logistics, inventory management, and product procurement.

Mr. Starkey joined RestoringVision in 2021 as RestoringVision’s Operations Manager. He is an accomplished professional in operations with over 2 decades of experience.
