Now Optics Names Two Women to its Executive Leadership Team

Now Optics recently named two women to its leadership team. Former CVS Health’s Morgan Diaz joined Now Optics as senior vice president of operations and business development, and Lukana Justin previously from Office Depot Inc. is the new, senior vice president of marketing. They join Tara Pellegrino, general counsel, who was the first female named to the leadership team in Jan. 2018.

Both report directly to Daniel Stanton, founder and chief executive officer for Now Optics, in these newly created positions and bring expertise from their respective industries to the company.

“Morgan and Lukana bring a wealth of experience from their prior corporate roles to Now Optics,” Mr. Stanton said in the news release. “As a rapidly growing organization, both positions are integral to our strategic expansion plans; and I’m pleased to have them join our team.”

Now Optics is an eye health provider offering eye care under the retail brands Stanton Optical and My Eyelab.

In her role at Now Optics, Ms. Diaz is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s retail, clinical, and franchise operations including its over 165 stores across 25 states. Additionally, she collaborates with the leadership team on the company’s new business growth strategies.

Ms. Diaz most recently served as senior director at CVS Health where she led strategy, operations, and transformative growth initiatives for its Pharmacy and Health Services divisions. During her 9-year career at CVS Health, she spearheaded many enterprise initiatives.

“As the new leader of Now Optics’ operations and business development teams, it’s a terrific opportunity and pivotal time in the company’s growth,” said Ms. Diaz. “Through the team’s sustained efforts of focusing first on customers while we collaborate and innovate allows us to better position our business for the future.”

Ms. Justin joins the leadership team as Now Optics’ senior vice president of marketing with oversight of marketing strategy, communications, ecommerce, and customer analytics. She is responsible for developing strategies to drive customer growth, revenue, and in-store traffic and establishing the company’s brand positioning including its rebranding.

As a former vice president of marketing – brand and customer strategy for Office Depot, Ms. Justin spearheaded several omnichannel growth initiatives over a span of nearly 10 years including revamping the consumer loyalty program. Most recently, she led the development and execution of the company’s new business services brand, Workonomy.
