Navigate Patient Solutions Adds Ophthalmology Leaders to its Medical Advisory Board

Navigate Patient Solutions announced the addition of Vance Thompson, MD; David Cox, and Matthew P. Jensen to its Medical Advisory Board.

Navigate is developing a patient engagement solution for ophthalmology. The startup partners with ophthalmology practices and industry leaders with the goal of simplifying operations, transforming patient experiences, and accelerating practice growth. Among its services is providing patients with a real-life 'Navigator' to guide them through the cataract surgery process and answer any questions they have pre-consultation. The goal of the interaction is to improve the efficiency of cataract consultations, better educate patients on premium lens options, provide a consistent patient experience, and relieve pressure from existing staff.

According to Navigate, Dr. Thompson, an ophthalmic surgeon and innovator, will advise Navigate on enhancing patient engagement and personalized care strategies. Mr. Cox, founder of Bryn Mawr Communications, will advise Navigate's growth initiatives, working to ensure plans are executed effectively and value is delivered to practices and patients. Mr. Jensen, founder of Matt Jensen Marketing and former CEO of Vance Thompson Vision, brings expertise in patient experience design and healthcare marketing. He will support Navigate's efforts to create patient-centric strategies that elevate satisfaction and improve outcomes.
