Lumibird Launches Tango Neo and UltraQ Reflex Neo Lasers

Following the launch of its flagship product, the Tango Reflex Neo, in December 2022, Lumibird Medical announced the launch of two additional variants within its premium Nd:YAG/SLT laser range—the UltraQ Reflex Neo and Tango Neo.
A fully integrated Q-switched Nd:YAG laser for anterior-segment YAG and glaucoma indications, UltraQ Reflex Neo features second-generation Reflex technology with True Coaxial Illumination (TCITM), enhancing visualization of anterior and posterior segments, according to Lumibird.
New features introduced with this fully integrated laser include Imprint, a dynamic heads-up display with real-time view of treatment settings within the binoculars, joystick control of energy settings, and up to 2 mm YAG posterior offset, facilitating PROcap - Premium Refractive Outcome Capsulotomies.
“PROcap is an alternative approach to Nd:YAG Posterior Capsulotomy developed to improve the geometry of capsule openings, maximize IOL protection, and significantly reduce postoperative iatrogenic floaters," Matthew Metcalfe, Anterior Segment Laser Product Manager at Lumibird Medical, said in a company news release.
“This new premium laser range builds on decades of experience within our design and manufacturing teams, delivering exceptional high-quality product, which, we believe will be instrumental in advancing the standard of care in clinical practice," said Jean-Marc Gendre, CEO Lumibird Medical.
While retaining all capabilities of its predecessor for YAG and SLT treatments, Tango Neo has an improved general user interface with a modern look and feel and more intuitive control.
Tango Reflex Neo, UltraQ Reflex Neo and Tango Neo are CE-marked and FDA 510(k) approved. Delegates attending the ASCRS congress in San Diego, May 5-8, will have the opportunity to see this premium laser range at booth #2147.
