Lightmed Announces New Office Location in Caesarea, Israel
Lightmed announced it has opened a new office location in Caesarea, Israel to expand its business and technological investments, and leverage Israel’s diverse and experienced medical technology talent pool.
“This is an exciting time for Lightmed. We are growing rapidly worldwide and we want to support this growth by investing in new technologies. Opening an office at the Caesarean Smart Industrial Technology Park in Caesarea, Israel was a logical step and is just the beginning,” Shlomo Alkalay, CEO of Lightmed, said in a company news release. “The office is in a prime location that’s easily accessible and perfectly situated halfway between Haifa and Tel Aviv. The area is also populated with highly skilled professionals who have graduated from distinguished universities – this will surely help us further extend our professional services and customer support teams.”
“It has always been a dream of mine to expand and open a technology center in the European and Middle Eastern territory,” said Lightmed Executive Chairman Gary Lee. “Strategically it makes sense since we have a large existing customer base there with huge growth potential. Soon after Shlomo came on board as CEO, I knew he would help turn my vision into reality.”
To commemorate the opening of the new office, Mr. Alkalay met with Michael Karsenti, CEO of Caesarea Assets Corporation, and the rest of the Caesarea Assets team.
“This is a great opportunity to thank Shlomo for choosing us. May we see great innovations coming out of our park for the good and the health of all of us,” Mr. Karsenti said.
In addition to this new office location, Lightmed has offices in San Clemente, California; Taipei, Taiwan; and Tokyo, Japan.
