Johnson & Johnson Appoints Shawn Millerick President, Vision Care, Americas

Johnson & Johnsonhas announced the appointment of Shawn Millerick as President, Vision Care, Americas, effective November 11, 2024.

Mr. Millerick will be responsible for defining strategy and driving growth for Johnson & Johnson’s Vision Care portfolio in North America and LATAM, including the contact lens family Acuvue. With a focus on accelerating digital transformation, Mr. Millerick will collaborate with customers and continue to optimize outcomes for patients and eye care professionals.

His exceptional leadership and deep expertise will serve as a transformative catalyst for our future growth,” Peter Menziuso, Company Group Chairman, Vision, Johnson & Johnson MedTech, said in a company news release.

According to J&J, Mr. Millerick has extensive expertise in the vision space bringing strong knowledge regarding commercial strategy and enterprise solutions, as well as broad consumer healthcare experience, OTC marketing, focusing on shopper marketing and category insights.

Additionally, Erin Powers has taken on expanded responsibilities, now leading the Surgical Vision business across both the US and Canada as the Vice President of North America, Surgical Vision.
