Hilco Vision Appoints Girisha Chandraraj as CEO

Hilco Vision has named Girisha Chandraraj as its new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Ross Brownlee.

Mr. Chandraraj’s has held previous roles as CEO at 'Marbles: The Brain Store' and Elite Sportswear. Most recently, he served as CEO of Careismatic Brands, where he successfully integrated the business into a scalable platform while enhancing its digital and operational capabilities. His expertise spans delivering digital solutions, driving operational efficiencies, and developing brands that align with both consumer and industry partner needs, according to a company news release. 

“Girisha’s background makes him the ideal leader to build on Hilco Vision’s strong brands, distribution partnerships, and infrastructure. His experience will help the company continue meeting the evolving needs of customers in the eye care industry," Matt Anderson, Managing Director at Windjammer Capital, said in a company news release. Hilco is part of the Windjammer Capital Investors family of companies.

Hilco Vision offers products across categories such as prescription safety, lens care, eyewear accessories, dry eye solutions, and vision testing products. The company has direct subsidiaries in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Hilco's portfolio of brands includes Bruder Healthcare for dry eye solutions, M&S Technologies for exam lane equipment, and OnGuard for prescription safety eyewear.
