Haag-Streit has announced the return of "Biometry Focus Month 2024" in November. The event will feature a series of live webinars every Thursday from November 7 to November 28, 2024. Each session will address critical topics in biometry, offering cataract and refractive surgeons key insights to enhance their surgery planning.

Building on the success of its previous "Focus Months," Haag-Streit is bringing four 60-minute Zoom webinars with the latest biometry developments. Each session is designed to provide surgeons with up-to-date information and strategies to make well-informed decisions for superior patient outcomes.

This year’s event features a distinguished lineup of key opinion leaders (KOLs), including: Warren E. Hill, MD, Medical Director and Ophthalmologist at East Valley Ophthalmology; and Nir Sorkin, MD, Medical Director at Tel Aviv Medical Center and Clinical Associate Professor at Tel Aviv University. Haag-Streit’s product specialists, Abdo Jamal and Thomas Beutler, will offer technical insights into the company’s cutting-edge biometry solutions.

The webinar series will center on how Haag-Streit’s advanced swept-source OCT technology supports surgeons in making more informed choices, thereby improving patient satisfaction. Topics will cover the critical role of topography and keratometry, determining toric IOL candidacy, and managing complex eye conditions like keratoconus.
