Haag-Streit Realigns its Organization to Focus on Solutions in Eye Care

As of January 1, 2022, Haag-Streit Group has realigned its organization to focus on eye care.  

Haag-Streit is moving from a product-based structure to a function-based management structure across the different manufacturing and sales companies.

By increasing effectiveness of our organization, we can bundle our strengths to even further improve processes in a practice or clinic environment and enhance diagnostic reliability for the benefit of patients. A consequent clustering of our market performance as a group opens up a completely new set of possibilities and innovative solutions for the future. Changes in leadership team

Thomas Bernhard will continue to lead the Haag-Streit Group as Chief Executive Officer, together with Christian Zürcher, Chief Finance Of- ficer, and Stefan Haag, Chief Marketing Officer. The Executive Leadership Team will be complemented by Roman Angst as Chief Operating Officer, the previous CEO of Haag-Streit Diagnostics; and by Markus Schill as Chief Research and Development Officer, formerly the CEO of Haag-Streit Simulation.

All individuals have started in their new role as of January 1, 2022.
