Founders of The Lens Butler Announce Boxsee, a New Contact Lens Subscription Service
Beth Samenuk and Allison Granger, formerly of The Lens Butler, announced their new company and brand, Boxsee. The company represents a new vision for the future of their partnered contact lens subscription service and increases their offerings to private ECP’s and the value to patients, according to a company news release.
Boxsee provides continuity for eye care professionals who are looking for a competitive subscription contact lens offering to online retailer 1-800-Contacts, VC-backed Hubble, and wholesale clubs like Sam’s and Costco.
“We are amazed by the support that we have received from the optometric community as a whole, and it is very fulfilling for us to see others share in our vision,” Beth Samenuk, co-founder of Boxsee, said in a company news release. “We are excited to continue our mission – to bring a convenient subscription offering to the patients of ECP’s.”
Ms. Samenuk and Ms. Granger revealed that business grew over 200% last year. This growth provides Boxsee the opportunity to onboard independent ECP’s with superior services that improve patient loyalty while simultaneously offering an affordable and convenient option to the patient, according to the news release.
“We learned a lot from our venture as The Lens Butler and are excited about the new direction we are taking with Boxsee,” said Ms. Granger, co-founder.
