Eyewear and Eyecare Products Are Not Included in Recently Announced European Import Duties
Eyewear and eyecare products are not among the European goods that will be subjected to new tariffs, according to a communication on behalf of The Vision Council to its members Thursday, as reported in Vision Monday.
The Trump administration moved to implement tariffs on $7.5 billion of imports from the European Union following an Oct. 2 decision from the World Trade Organization (WTO) that authorized tariffs due to EU subsidies to Airbus.
