Eyepromise Introduces Screen Shield Pro All-Natural Eye Vitamin for Screen Time Protection for Adults
EyePromise announced the introduction of Screen Shield Pro to its premium eye vitamin line. EyePromise’s Screen Shield Pro is designed to protect and relieve the associated symptoms of digital eye strain of adults (ages 18 and up) who spend 8+ hours staring at digital screens while working, gaming, or just binge watching their favorite shows, according to a company news release. It follows the recent introduction of Screen Shield Teen, an ocular nutrition supplement specially formulated to preserve and support visual comfort and wellness for children ages 4-17. The effects of screen time and harmful blue light are a daily concern. An independent survey* of 500 consumers found that 92 percent of adults experience at least one vision-related issue due to screen-time usage. Four-in-five (81 percent) adults complained of tired eyes, followed by headaches and eye strain. Two-thirds (66%) of respondents believe that they use their devices “too much,” but about 40 percent of them say they believe it is necessary for their daily needs.
