The event, which scheduled for May 7 at 8 pm at the Music Box entertainment center in San Diego, will be headlined by The Machine, a rock band which regularly performs in the Dallas/Ft. Worth/Nashville areas, created by Kirk Labor, MD, founder of Eye Consultants of Texas. Scheduled to join Dr. Labor and The Machine on stage are the following ophthalmologist musicians and industry partners:

  • Parag Majmudar, MD, of Chicago Cornea
  • Inder Paul Singh, MD, of The Eye Centers of Racine & Kenosha
  • Christopher E. Starr, MD, FACS, of Weill Cornell Medicine Ophthalmology

“For those planning to be at ASCRS in May, this is an event that you don’t want to miss,” said Holland Foundation Director of Development Kila Hanrahan. “Not only will you hear some great rock and roll, but this is also a chance to help give the gift of vision to patients who have suffered Severe Ocular Surface Disease.”

The Holland Foundation For Sight Restoration is the only foundation created to address the significant unmet medical need of corneal transplantation for patients who have Severe Ocular Surface Disease while enabling surgeons the resources to provide the treatment across the country. The foundation is led by Edward Holland, MD, an internationally recognized and pioneering ophthalmologist in the treatment of Severe Ocular Surface Disease practices at the Cincinnati Eye Institute and at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood.
