European Glaucoma Society Postpones Annual Congress
The Executive Committee of the European Glaucoma Society has decided to postpone the 14th EGS Congress in Brussels, Belgium to December due to the global COVID-10 pandemic. A statement posted on the EGS website read:
“In these times of uncertainty, the first priority of the EGS is to ensure the health, safety and well-being of its global community. Due to the impact of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the EGS Executive Committee has decided to postpone the Congress to mid-December, at the same venue.”
The EGS 40th Anniversary Congress is now scheduled for December 14-16, 2020, at SQUARE Brussels Meeting Centre.
