EuroEyes Group Wins SMILE Refractive Laser Eye Surgery Award

LEC London announced that its parent company EuroEyes Clinic Group, has won the SMILE Laser Operations Award for conducting the highest number of SMILE (Small Incision Lenticule Extraction) laser operations in Europe last year (2023). EuroEyes performed a total of 9,550 SMILE operations last year, over half of which were conducted in Europe.

EuroEyes recently opened LEC London surgery and has clinics spanning Berlin, Beijing, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Munich, Shanghai, and Shenzhen.

EuroEyes CEO Dr. Jørn Slot Jørgensen received the award from Max Foerst, President of Carl Zeiss Group Shanghai, at a ceremony in Hong Kong this week.

SMILE was introduced in 2011 and more than 8 million procedures have been performed to date.
