Centricity Vision Unveils Enhancements to ZEPTOLink IOL Positioning System at AAO 2024

Centricity Vision announced platform enhancements for its ZEPTOLink IOL Positioning System designed to reduce treatment time by up to 60%. The enhancements will be highlighted at the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) annual meeting, taking place from October 18-21, 2024, in Chicago.
ZEPTOLink is the first and only device on the market capable of performing instantaneous capsulotomy with consistent, 360-degree IOL overlap, ensuring optimal lens positioning and enhanced surgical outcomes. The latest upgrade allows surgeons to adjust the suction hold time to as low as 4 seconds, down from the previous 10-second threshold. This new feature not only shortens treatment time but also boosts operational efficiency in the surgical suite.
"ZEPTOLink integrates seamlessly with my phaco system and provides the ability to create a precise, consistent, and safe capsular opening for my premium and complex cases," Uday Devgan, MD, of Devgan Eye Surgery, said in a company news release. "The ability to customize my suction hold time provides even greater flexibility and control, allowing me to perform successful capsulotomies more efficiently, which is crucial to achieving superior results for my premium patients."
