BVI Installs First Beyeonics One System

BVI announced that the first Beyeonics One System has been installed at Holzman Solomon Vision Partners, in McClean, Virginia. On August 17, Jonathon Solomon, MD, was the first US surgeon to offer ophthalmic surgery with the Beyeonics One platform in private practice. Under the direction of Dr. Solomon, Beyeonics One will be integrated as the primary imaging platform for ophthalmic surgery in his private practice. Beyeonics One offers numerous features which enable surgeons to visualize the surgical field with enhanced clarity and detail, as well as perform surgery without being constrained or limited in physical movement, according to a BVI news release.

The system offers something completely unique from other heads-up systems—a well-balanced headset that puts you seemingly inside the eye with the freedom of head movement, while keeping the field of view right in front of you.
