BVI Expands its Presence in Spain and Portugal Acquiring Medical Mix

BVI announced it has acquired Medical Mix, an ophthalmic medical device supplier in Spain and Portugal.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

BVI said its European footprint with direct sales representatives and infrastructure now spans all major western European markets.

Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Barcelona, Medical Mix is a provider of surgical ophthalmic products in Spain and Portugal. The company has been a distributor of BVI IOLs since 2008, consumables since 2012, and equipment since 2019, has been a key partner with BVI products.
