Bausch + Lomb Launches New Range of Pure‐Line Gases at Euretina
Bausch + Lomb announced the European launch of the new range of Pure‐line gases during the European Society of Retina Specialists (Euretina) annual meeting, taking place in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Oct. 5‐ 8, 2023.
Designed for ease of use, the Pure‐line gases are available as both pure and pre‐mixed versions of SF6, C2F6, and C3F8 for medium‐term use in retina surgery,* according to a company news release. The launch of the Pure‐line range follows the recent introduction of BLutein intraocular dyes* tailored for both posterior and anterior staining. With the availability of the new Pure-line gas range, Bausch + Lomb now offers a range of tamponades, also comprising the Oxane Silicone Oils, Dk‐line & Okta‐line PFCLs.
During the Euretina congress, Bausch + Lomb will host an educational symposium featuring an internationally renowned panel of physicians. The faculty will share their expert insights and clinical experience on the new Pure‐line gas range and the BLutein intraocular dyes. Clinical experience with the company’s newly launched SeeLuma Fully Digital Surgical Visualization Platform will also be presented. Physicians will also have the opportunity to learn more about Bausch + Lomb’s ophthalmic solutions, including the new Pure‐line gases, SeeLuma, the combined Stellaris Elite system, and the BLutein intraocular dyes through hands‐on product demonstrations.
