Andrew Chang Joins BVI Medical as Chief Commercial Officer

BVI Medical announced the appointment of Andrew Chang to the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer. Mr. Chang will lead the company’s global sales, global marketing, and commercial excellence teams and will report directly to President and CEO Shervin Korangy.

Mr. Chang brings more than 20 years of commercial leadership experience in the ophthalmic medical device and pharmaceutical sectors. He most recently served as President of Carl Zeiss Meditec USA, and as Head of Global Sales for Zeiss Ophthalmic Devices, where he led commercial strategy and execution across a global portfolio of diagnostic and surgical technologies. His prior experience includes senior roles at Bausch + Lomb, where he served as SVP and General Manager of US Surgical, as well as leadership positions at OptiMedica and ISTA Pharmaceuticals.
