Andreas C. Kühnel Appointed as Geschäftsführer Managing Director at VSY Biotechnology

VSY Biotechnology has announced the appointment of Andreas Christoph Kühnel as its new Managing Director. In this new role, Mr. Kühnel will be responsible for developing and expanding VSY Biotechnology’s operations on a global scale.

Mr. Kühnel brings expertise and experience to the company, having held a variety of leadership roles in the medical industry. Before joining VSY Biotechnology, Mr. Kühnel worked as the Managing Director at MHMedical-Tec GmbH in Großostheim, where he successfully managed the company's operations. Prior to that, he served as CS & MO and Co-founder of Vitreq BV between 2014 and 2020, where he was responsible for managing sales and marketing activities, establishing the customer service division, and training sales teams and distributors worldwide. From 2012 to 2014, Mr. Kühnel was the Managing Director at Eye Technology, a subsidiary of DORC. During his tenure, he successfully restructured the distribution network, expanded the product portfolio, and increased business volume considerably. From October 2000 to June 2012, Mr. Kühnel served as the International Sales Director at Geuder AG, where he was responsible for international marketing activities, including wetlabs and congresses, and established an international distributor network. He also worked closely with surgeons to develop new products for ophthalmic surgery and product launches.
