Altris AI Launches Altris Sync App Allowing AI to Directly Sync to OCT Devices

Altris AI announces the release of 'Altris Sync,' a secure application that syncs AI directly to OCT devices from 8 OCT manufacturers. The introduction of Altris Sync for automated upload of OCT files is desinged to remove the need for manual operations and bring AI decision support for OCT analysis to every clinic.

Altris Sync now connects OCT devices from Carl Zeiss MediTech, Canon, Topcon, Heidelberg Engineering, Visionix, Nikon (Optos), Optopol, and Nidek. The app is fully integrated into the Altris Inc. ecosystem, carrying the same security credentials—FDA 510(k) clearance, CE marking, and full compliance with HIPAA and GDPR.

This feature aims to allow eye care specialists to use AI to review large volumes of historical data and identify patients who may benefit from specific treatments. Providers can track disease progression across scans from different OCT devices using clear, quantitative data—maps, graphs, and percentage-based insights.
