Alcon to Showcase Innovations for Eye Care Practice Success at 2023 Optometry’s Meeting

Alcon will showcase innovations from advances in the reusable lens space to digital offerings at Optometry’s Meeting, the American Optometric Association (AOA) annual conference taking place June 21-24 in Washington, D.C. Through interactive events, Q&A’s, live demonstrations, and try-ons, Alcon will aim to help eye care professionals (ECPs) bring innovation to life in their practices. Alcon will connect ECPs with the TOTAL solution for monthly lens-wearing patients and offer an exclusive preview of Alcon’s pipeline innovations. Alcon’s digital ordering platform, MARLO, will also be on display through the interactive MARLO Experience Center.

Alcon will host a series of sponsored events, where key opinion leaders will share TOTAL30 portfolio highlights, including how the innovations have been instrumental to their practices’ success. Experts will also delineate the science behind TOTAL30 and TOTAL30 for Astigmatism, the first and only reusable water gradient lens for toric lens patients.[1] Highlights will showcase the reusable, Water Gradient design of TOTAL30 for Astigmatism, including other features, such as biomimetic CELLIGENT Technology that helps resist bacteria and lipid deposits for a clean lens all month long[2-6] and the lens’ PRECISION BALANCE 8|4 design that provides the on-eye stability astigmatic contact lens wearers need for exceptionally clear and stable vision.[7] Throughout the sponsored events, Alcon’s experts will demonstrate practical solutions to achieving patient satisfaction as well as preview highly anticipated innovations set to launch early next year.
Alcon’s booth #1211 will serve as the source for information on the company’s current offerings and launch details for future innovations. Attendees can stop by Alcon’s booth for the TOTAL30 Try-On event. Alcon representatives will be available at the booth for the Try-On event and to provide more information on the next generation of TOTAL30 innovation.
Alcon will also be providing 'Ask the Experts' sessions focusing on the company’s reusable contact lens portfolio, including TOTAL30 and TOTAL30 for Astigmatism. Experts will share key facts about the innovations, in addition to insights about the reusable lens-wearing experience. These interactive sessions will offer attendees the opportunity to learn more about Alcon’s TOTAL30 offerings.
Attendees will also be able to visit the MARLO Experience Center for an 'Ask the Experts' session and live demonstrations at Alcon’s booth. The company will highlight how MARLO delivers a cutting-edge digital platform for eye care practices with a patient-centric user experience in mind.
