AbbVie Launches Refresh Tears PF and Refresh Relieva PF Xtra

AbbVie has introduced two new preservative-free (PF) lubricant eye drop products─Refresh Tears PF and Refresh Relieva PF Xtra.

According to AbbVie, the new products contain several new features:

• Multidose Bottle Design: The bottles are designed with soft-squeeze, multidose bottles that are easier to squeeze than traditional bottles. The bottles are also designed with a double lockout system that keeps the drops sterile.
• Preservative-Free Formula: Protects against further irritation and is good for sensitive eyes. Both products are also enhanced with HydroCell technology─a specialized sodium chloride/salt (NaCl)-free glycerin-based solution that aids in rehydration and sustains cell volume on the ocular surface.
