You should read this disturbing statement from Commissioner Rebecca Kelly Slaughter about possibly removing the manufacturer name from contact lens prescriptions so that "consumers could then choose the right contact lens brand or manufacturer for themselves based on price, comfort, ease of delivery, and other criteria over which sellers would compete."
When do I have to start following these new rules?
